Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before registering for courses, workshops, programs, or booking services with Knowledge-Based Birth (KBBirth).

By purchasing a course, workshop, program, or service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

Courses, Workshops, and Educational Programs

Knowledge-Based Birth offers educational courses, workshops, and programs related to pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum, and related topics.

Because spaces in small-group programs are limited and reserved specifically for participants, cancellations may affect the ability of another participant to join.

Cancellation Before the Start Date

If you need to cancel your participation before the course or workshop begins, please contact me as soon as possible at:

Refunds are available according to the following:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the start date: full refund
  • Cancellation between 14 days and the start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation after the program has started: refunds are generally not available

If there are exceptional circumstances, please contact me directly and I will consider the situation individually.

Digital Materials and Online Courses

For digital products, recorded courses, downloadable materials, or online programs:

Due to the nature of digital content, once access has been provided or materials have been downloaded, refunds may not be available.

If you experience technical difficulties accessing materials, please contact me and I will make reasonable efforts to assist.

Private Sessions and Doula Services

For private sessions, birth preparation sessions, and doula services:

  • Sessions cancelled more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled.
  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.
  • Doula availability is reserved specifically for clients, and cancellation terms are agreed upon separately in the doula agreement.

Birth-Related Circumstances

Birth and pregnancy-related services involve circumstances that may change unexpectedly.

If a planned session, workshop, or support service is affected by birth, medical circumstances, or other unexpected events, please contact me and we will discuss an appropriate solution.

Changes or Cancellation by Knowledge-Based Birth

Knowledge-Based Birth reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, workshops, or programs due to unforeseen circumstances.

If a program is cancelled by Knowledge-Based Birth, participants will be offered a transfer to another date or a refund for the cancelled service.
